The Old Rectory
 

        The beautiful light-filled drawing room, with its magnificent fireplace and outlook over the front and rear gardens, is a quiet, relaxing place to be.  A log fire in the cooler months adds to the welcome and the family photographs, eclectic collection of original paintings and antique furniture throughout the house provide an interesting and home-from-home atmosphere.
The elegant dining room, with views over the garden and paddocks, catches the  morning sun and is the perfect setting for breakfast,  which includes compotes and jams made from home-grown fruit, home-made bread, choices of traditional full English or smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or croissants and home-made marmalade.  Vegetarian diets are also catered for.        

 

 

 

All the ensuite bedrooms are       individually styled, overlook the gardens and are comfortably furnished with armchairs, CTV, teatrays, complimentary sherry,  magazines, books and tourist information.
